Teaching with Analogy

• An analogy is a comparison of the of the similarities of two concepts.
• The familiar concept is called as analog and unfamiliar one the target .
• Both the analog and target share similar features called as attributes. 
• The overall procedure goes as mentioned below.

I had used this strategy of teaching with analogy in class 8th standard to teach about immune system.I had used the similarities between airport security and immune system to make them understand the concept well.
