SCI FUN IN ALMEIDA HIGH SCHOOL
The students of G.V.M`S college of B.Ed as
a part of internship conducted a mini Scifun activity in Almeida High school
for students of 9th standard. It was organized in the school
auditorium. Students were very enthusiastic and excited to witness this
program. Sci Fun is an initiative taken by Dr.Anna Neena George to promote the
science learning in a fun manner for School students across Goa, we adapted the
same concept to conduct the program in Almeida High School.
Students found the program mind boggling as something like
this was never done for them, they never learnt science concept in such an
enjoyable and fun manner without taxing much on their brains. We demonstrated
many interesting science experiments and also showed them a presentation of fun
facts in science
The overall response was very good, students were joyous and
somewhere we have ignited that spark of curiosity in their mind that’s the true
purpose of our sci fun program.
